Marta Palusinska-Szysz  works as a researcher and academic teacher at the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland. She  completed her Ph.D. in 2003 and since that time she have been working as a researcher. Her research focuses on the structural analysis of the surface components of symbiotic and pathogenic bacteria. She  mainly investigate the role of lipopolysaccharide and phospholipids of Legionella spp in host-pathogen interaction.
