Stefania Boccia is Associate Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Director of the Health Technology Assessment Unit and Director of the Section of Hygiene at UCSC, Funder of the UCSC spin-off “Vihtali srl”, VicePresident of the Public Health Genomics Section of the European Public Health Association. She coordinates the Horizon 2020 Personalized PREvention of Chronic Diseases Maria Skłodowska Curie RISE project, Partner of the Erasmus Mundus project ERAWEB, and of the Joint Programming “Determinants of Diet and Physical Activity”. She is Expert Evaluator of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (H2020) and for the Evaluation and selection of research projects on behalf of the JPI "More years better lives".  Expert Member of the Working Group on PHG of Cancer for the Cancer Control Joint Action EU-FP7 project for the Italian Ministry of Health, and Expert Member of the Working Group on Public Health Genomics for the Council of Health, Italian Ministry of Health. She currently coordinates seven national projects funded by the Italian Association for Research on Cancer, Italian Ministry of Health, Italian Ministry of University, and Italian Center for Disease Control.
