Uldum Søren Anker

MSc, Ph.D. Head of Unit of Atypical Pneumonia and of the National Legionella Reference Laboratory, Statens Serum Institut, Copenhagen, Denmark. He has been an active member of the European Working Group for Legionella Infections (EWGLI) since 1994 and participated in the several of this groups projects regarding epidemiology, surveillance, diagnosis, typing methods and EQA. He is National Collaborator (Microbiology) of the European Legionnaires´ Disease Surveillance Network (ELDSNet, ECDC) and has formerly been a member of the Coordination Group of ELDSNet. Søren is also Member of the Executive Committee and presently Secretary of the ESCMID Study Group for Legionella Infections (ESGLI).
